About The Design
This design is made using carbon fiber and solid gold. We don't use plated. We don't use gold filled. It's solid gold with carbon fiber on the exterior. We do some unique things with this design to make sure it's a long lasting rings. Many jewelers struggle to incorporate carbon fiber and gold because of the differences in the materials. The gold and carbon fiber delaminates over time because of improper bonding techniques. Many jewelers only rough up the bonding faces, where as we rough them up, groove them and heat cure and post cure the epoxy used to bond the two materials. Gold and carbon fiber contract and expand differently with different temperatures therefore additional steps need to be taken to make a solid bond. The grooves we create not only increase the surface area of the bond but also create anchors that the carbon fiber and epoxy can set into for a permanent bond.
We take this very seriously and it's important to do it properly so your ring can last a lifetime.
Ordering Info
Please be sure about size. This is gold and though we will resize and exchange, it costs us a lot in material to do that so we just ask that you be sure about your size prior to ordering. We're a very small business and ordering mounds of gold is expensive.
We make this with solid gold. We have Yellow Gold, Rose Gold and White Gold Available. We use 10k gold, higher gold karats can be used too. Please message us for more. We can even do platinum and palladium too.
Handmade to order
Every Black Lume ring is crafted and finished by hand, one at a time. Small variations are part of what makes each piece individual rather than mass-produced. Please allow 2–4 weeks for crafting before shipping; carrier transit time begins after the ring is complete.
Choosing your ring size
Sizes are listed in U.S. ring sizing. Please confirm your size with a jeweler or rigid ring sizer before ordering; string and printable guides can be inaccurate. Band width and profile affect fit, and wider rings may feel more snug. If you are between sizes, contact us before placing your order.
Final sale + first-order resize
Because your ring is handcrafted to your selected size and finish, all sales are final. Your first Black Lume ring order includes one complimentary resize. Contact us before sending it back; some materials cannot be resized traditionally, so the correct sizing solution may require a size-corrected remake or exchange.
MATERIALS + CRAFT
Handcrafted and hand-finished using premium ring blanks, high-purity resin, and high-output photoluminescent material. Natural variation is part of the piece.

CHARGE + CARE
Charge under sunlight or a UV light for the strongest glow. Clean with mild soap and a soft cloth.
